Cambose is the ancient Sanskrit name of Cambodia. The earliest Indian colony in the erstwhile Indochina peninsula was established around the first century AD in Funan region. For nearly 600 years, Funan propagated and spread Hindu culture in this region. The great state of Kamboj has been established.
