16 May 1920	A referendum joined the League of Nations of Switzerland.
27 October 1920	The headquarters of the League of Nations were moved to Geneva, Switzerland.
16 December 1920	Finland joins League of Nations.
16 January 1920	The League of Nations, the first intergovernmental organization whose principal mission was to maintain world peace, held its first council meeting in Paris.
18 September 1922	Hungary joins League of Nations.
09 January 1923	Lithuanian residents of the Memel Territory rebelled against the League of Nations decision to leave the area as a mandated region under French control.
10 September 1923	The Irish Free State joined the League of Nations.
12 June 1926	Brazil decided to come out of the League of Nations.
17 September 1934	The then Soviet Union joined the League of Nations.
08 July 1937	The Treaty of Sadabad was signed by Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Afghanistan. It was a non-aggression treaty. It lasted for 5 years. The treaty was recorded in the League of Nations. This treaty was an initiative to enhance Middle East oriental relations.
