History of Bihari Puraskar:
Bihari Award K. K. It is a prestigious literary award given by the Birla Foundation. In the year 1991, K. K. The Bihari Award was instituted by the Birla Foundation in the name of the famous poet Bihari Lal of the Riti period. In the year 1991, the famous poet Jaisingh Neeraj was awarded the first Bihari Award for his poetry compilation 'Dhani Ka Aadmi'.
From 1991 till date - Yashwant Vyas, Alka Saraogi, Hemant Shesh, Giridhar Rathi, Arjun Dev Charan, Hari Ram Meena, Chandra Prakash Deval, Om Thanvi, Dr. Bhagwati Lal Vyas, Satya Narayan, Vijay Verma, Manisha Kulshrestha, Mohankrishna Bohra Writers like Aidan Singh Bhati, Madhu Kankaria, Dr. Madhav Harda have received this award.

How to be selected for Bihari Puraskar?
This award is given to an outstanding Rajasthani or Hindi work by a native of Rajasthan residing in any part of India or resident of any part of the country permanently residing in Rajasthan for the last 07 years. The work should have been published in the last 10 years.
Amount to be received in Bihari Award:
The Bihari Award carries a prize of Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand, a citation and a plaque. This award was given in 1991 to K.K. It is one of the three literary awards instituted by the Birla Foundation. Named after the famous Hindi poet Bihari, this award is given every year by a Rajasthani writer for an outstanding contribution in Hindi or Rajasthani published in the last 10 years.
32nd Bihari Award 2022: K.K. The 32nd Bihari Award for the year 2022 will be given to Dr. Madhav Harda by the Birla Foundation for his literary criticism book 'Pachrang Chol Pahar Sakhi Ri'. K.K. Birla Foundation made this announcement in New Delhi. This book was published in 2015.
