List of recipients of Sahitya Akademi Award for the year 2020:

The Sahitya Akademi Awards, given annually by the Sahitya Akademi in 20 languages, have been announced. These 20 languages ​​include seven books of poetry, four of novels, five short stories, two plays and one each of memoirs and epic poetry. Awards for Malayalam, Nepali, Odia and Rajasthani were announced later. Sahitya Akademi Award is a literary honor given in India.

It is a dream of all Indian writers to receive this prestigious literary award. Sahitya Akademi Awards 2019 has been announced. Sahitya Akademi has announced the names of writers who have won this award in 23 languages. Nand Kishore Acharya has been awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award 2019 in Hindi language. This award has been given to him for his poem 'Chhilte Hue Apne Ko'. List of persons honored with Sahitya Akademi Award for the year 2018:

One lakh rupees, an engraved copper plate and shawl will be presented as prizes to the winners at a special function to be held in the national capital on 29 January 2019. Under the Bhasha Samman, the awardees are presented with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, an engraved copper plate and a citation. These honors will be conferred by the President of Sahitya Akademi in a special ceremony by fixing a date in future.

On the evening of 22 December, the persons who were awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award for the year 2017 were announced. Renowned writer Ramesh Kantul Megh has been selected for the Sahitya Akademi Award in Hindi for his literary review 'Vishwamithak Saritsagar'.

Secretary of Sahitya Akademi Dr.K. Srinivasa Rao announced the Sahitya Akademi and annual translation awards in 24 languages ​​in a press conference. This year 7 novels, 5 collections of poems, 5 collections of stories, 5 critiques, 1 drama and 1 essay have been awarded. Sahitya Akademi provides one lakh rupees in cash, a copper plate and a shawl to these winners.

On the evening of December 21, the persons who were awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award for the year 2016 were announced. Renowned writer Nasira Sharma will be given the Sahitya Akademi Award in Hindi for her novel 'Parijat'. Along with this, 24 litterateurs including Jerry Pinto in English, Nizam Siddiqui in Urdu, Swarajbir in Punjabi, Shyam Darihare in Maithili will be given this award.

The works for which these awards are to be presented this time include eight poetry collections, seven story collections, five novels, two critiques, one essay collection and plays. One copper plate, one shawl and one lakh rupees are given as prize.
