What is SSC?
SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission (Staff Selection Commission) Established in 1977, it is a board for Public Sector Banks like IBPS for Group B and C employees in Central Government Ministries and other Departments. selects. What happens in SSC?
SSC is a selection board and every year conducts its various competitive exams like: CGL, CHSL, Steno, JE, CAPF, JHT etc. Through which students can give their exams according to their qualification and can get jobs in various departments of the Government of India.
- CGL: CGL means Combined Graduate Level Examination which can be given after any graduation. After clearing this exam you can work in some such posts like Food Officer, Income Tax Officer, Auditor etc.
- CHSL: CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination) This exam is conducted for those students who want to do job after 12th, after giving this exam you can work in such post as LDC, Clerk.
- Steno: Students making a career in Stenography Stenography can take this exam.
- JE: By giving this exam, JE i.e. Junior Engineer can get a chance to work on the post of Junior Engineer in various departments of the Government of India. The minimum educational qualification for this post is Diploma in Engineering.
- CAPF: CAPF means Central Armed Police Force, as its name implies, this exam has to be cleared for Inspector, Sub Inspector etc.
- JHT: JHT Junior Hindi Translation After passing this exam, you can get a chance to work in the post of Hindi translator, for this it is necessary for you to have a strong hold on both Hindi and English.
What is the exam pattern of SSC exam?
SSC is a competitive exam operator and it takes many exams as mentioned above, so its exam pattern is also similar to other competitive exams in which only questions from Maths, English, Reasoning are asked whose level is different according to the above exams.
What is the eligibility and age limit for SSC exam?
If the students are 12th pass in any discipline from a recognized board or institute, then they can apply. As far as the age limit is concerned, the minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 27 years. There is a relaxation of 5 years (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes), 3 years (Backward Classes).
What will be the type of exam- SSC exam (Combined graduate level)
The examination process takes place in three stages. Tier I and Tier II consist of written test while Tier III consists of personality test along with interview/ computer proficiency test/ skill test and document verification. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in Tier I and Tier II.
The candidates successful in the written test go through a stage of descriptive/online test followed by interview/ skill test/ computer proficiency test (wherever applicable)/ and documents verification. Thereafter, the All India Merit List for each category of post is issued by the Commission which contains the names of the candidates who have qualified the descriptive/online examination.
