International Day of Human Solidarity is celebrated every year on 20 December all over the world. The United Nations has declared 20 December as International Human Solidarity Day to spread the message of unity.
International Human Unity Day History
International Day of Human Solidarity (IHSD), observed on 20 December, is an international annual solidarity day of the United Nations and its member states introduced by the General Assembly during the 2005 World Summit. It was established on 22 December 2005 by resolution 60/209. Its main goal is to help the countries concerned recognize the universal values of the poor to reduce poverty and to design its models as signed by independent states. IHSD is a part of the World Solidarity Fund and the United Nations Development Program, focused to achieve the goals set for poverty alleviation around the world.

The purpose of International Human Unity Day is to spread awareness among people about the importance of unity in diversity. Different countries of the world spread the message of peace, brotherhood, love, harmony, and unity among their people on this day. Help4Human Research and Development has taken an initiative to unite Indians.
