National Safety Day, which was already celebrated, is now being celebrated as National Safety Week.
National Safety Day History
The initiative to bring this day into existence was taken by the National Safety Council itself. National Safety Council was established in India on 04 March 1966, hence this day is celebrated as National Safety Day.
The National Safety Council is an autonomous body, which acts as a non-governmental and non-profit organization for public service. This organization was established in the year 1966 under the Mumbai Societies Act, in which 8 thousand members were involved. After this, in the year 1972, it was decided by this organization to celebrate National Safety Day. And soon after that, it was celebrated as National Safety Week instead of National Safety Day.

Cleanliness:
The security of the country not only involves keeping the country safe from enemies but also keeping the people safe from diseases in the country also comes under security. National Safety Day shows everyone the way to take their step in this direction.
Keeping the country clean is also included under security, in which the government and the public, as well as the industrialists, are responsible and it is mandatory for all of them to come together to bring cleanliness-related to security to the country, thus cleanliness is also the purpose of security day.

Women Safety:
We all have to bear this security together. It is the job of the judiciary to punish after the incident, but it is necessary for all of us to think and act to put an end to these incidents. Only then having a day like National Security Day / National Security Day will prove to be effective.
