What is the definition of environment/environment?
Simply put, environment refers to the environment around us and the elements contained in it and the living beings living in it. We include the air, land, water, animals, birds, trees, plants etc. present around us in our environment.
Just as we are affected by our environment, our environment is also affected by the actions we do. As the forests are getting destroyed due to the trees cut down for wood and the life of the living beings living in it is also being affected due to the end of the forests. Some species of animals have become extinct and some are on the verge of extinction.

Causes of environmental pollution:
- Smoke from factories.
- Putting dirty water in the river and pond.

Measures to prevent environmental pollution:
- Population control.
- Moving factories away from the city and increasing the height of the chimney.
- Put good oil in two wheelers so that they do not leave black smoke.
- Plant more trees.
- Put the garbage in its box itself.
Environmental Protection Measures:
However, there is no such fast technology, which can immediately control the environmental pollution. But man can definitely reduce this problem with his small efforts. Here we would like to tell some things, by taking care of which environmental pollution can probably be controlled, such as:-
- It is not possible to shift the factories which have been established till date, but now it is necessary for the government to keep in mind that the new factories which are opened should be away from the city. The pollution caused by them should not affect the people of the city.
- Man should control the pollution made by himself as much as possible, such as reducing the use of vehicles where possible, some contribution can be made in reducing this problem by using public transport.
- Deforestation should be punished severely and the person planting new trees should be rewarded.
- Harmful material from factories should be refreshed and reused.
