09 June	The great Sikh military commander Banda Bahadur was killed by the Mughals. Banda Bahadur is remembered for fighting the Mughal Empire, ending the zamindari system, killing Wazir Khan in Sirhind and nurturing the Khalsa Panth. On 7 December 1715, Banda Bahadur was caught from Gurdas Nangal Fort. He was killed on 9 June 1716 after 3 months imprisonment and torture.
17 September	French soldier Jean Theural started a 90 -year military service career at the age of 17, admitted to the Regiment Detoin at the age of 17.
