Sports philanthropist and entrepreneur Vita Dani became the first Indian to join the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Foundation as a governing board member.
Vita Dani commented, “I would like to start by thanking the ITTF Foundation for this honour. It's a great feeling to join an organization that perfectly aligns with my vision for the growth of table tennis and its impact on the community.
ITTF Foundation
The foundation was set up by ITTF in 2018 to attract more people to the sport. The ITTF Foundation aims to use the attributes of table tennis to promote development through sport; Attracting more people to play, as well as working with them on topics linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals to improve their daily lives.
This supports the belief that table tennis is a universal sport capable of attracting individuals of all ages regardless of gender, cultural background, social status or physical abilities.
