Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the second edition of Infinity Forum 2.0 on 8 December 2023. The second edition of Infinity Forum was jointly organized by the International Financial Services Center Authority (IFSCA) and GIFT City under the aegis of the Government of India as a precursor event to the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024. The theme of the second edition of Infinity Forum is 'GIFT-IFSC: Nerve Center for New Age Global Financial Services'.
PM Modi said that India has emerged as a shining example of resilience and progress. In such an important period, the brainstorming on economic policies of the 21st century in GIFT City will increase the pride of Gujarat. The Indian system has progressed at the rate of 7.7% in just 6 months of this financial year.
Origin of Infinity Forum
The second edition of Infinity Forum was jointly organized by the International Financial Services Center Authority (IFSCA) and GIFT City under the aegis of the Government of India as a precursor event to the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024. The Infinity Forum is a global thought leadership platform on financial services, where progressive ideas from around the world, pressing problems, innovative technologies are discovered, discussed and developed into solutions and opportunities.
The theme of the second edition of Infinity Forum is 'GIFT-IFSC: Nerve Center for New Age Global Financial Services', which will be covered through the following three tracks:
- Full Track: Building a New Era International Financial Center
- Green Track: Making the Case for the "Green Stack"
- Silver Track: Longevity Finance Hub at GIFT IFSC
Each track includes an Infinity Talk by a senior industry leader and a discussion by a panel of industry experts and practitioners from the financial sector in India and around the world, providing practical insights and implementable solutions. The forum saw strong online participation from India and participation from 300+ CXOs with a global audience from 20+ countries including the USA, UK, Singapore, South Africa, UAE, Australia and Germany. Vice Chancellors of foreign universities and representatives of foreign embassies also participated in this program.
