Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'Mera Yuva Bharat' platform, an unprecedented initiative designed to empower the youth of India. Set up by the Union Cabinet on October 11, 2023, this autonomous body aims to act as a technology-driven facilitator for youth development and youth-led progress, promote equal opportunities and inculcate a sense of social responsibility among young individuals.
'Mera Yuva Bharat' (My India) is envisioned as a vital, technology-driven enabler for youth development and youth-led development, aimed at empowering youth to realize their aspirations across the entire spectrum of government. To empower. And to provide equal opportunities to empower them to contribute towards building a “Developed India”. It envisions a framework where the youth of our country can seamlessly connect with programs, mentors and their local communities. This engagement is designed to improve their understanding of local issues and empower them to contribute to creative solutions.
About Mera Yuva Bharat:
My Youth India (Mera Bharat), an autonomous body, will benefit youth in the age group of 15-29 years in line with the definition of 'youth' given in the National Youth Policy. The age of the beneficiaries will be 10-19 years. Mera Yuva Bharat (My India) is a 'Physical+Digital' platform that includes opportunities for physical activity as well as digital engagement.

- Role of Youth in Amrit Yug: India's youth have an important role to play in shaping the future of the country, especially at the crucial juncture of India's 75th year of independence, as the country is on the path of transformation for the making. Amrit Bharat in the next 25 years till 2047. Moving forward on the journey of development.
- Creating a framework to bring together youth from different regions on one platform: Vision 2047 needs a framework that can bring together rural youth, urban youth and rural-urban youth on one platform.
- Creating a new contemporary technology-based platform to connect with today's youth: In today's fast-paced world, which includes instant communication, proliferation of social media and development of new digital tools and cutting-edge technologies, there is a need for a technology- The powered platform can connect youth with programs that can help improve their capabilities and also connect them with community activities.
- Ensuring reach by creating a 'phygital' ecosystem: My Youth India Platform will create a 'phygital' ecosystem and empower youth to become catalysts of community change. They will act as a “youth bridge” connecting the government with its citizens.
The objectives of Mera Yuva Bharat include:
