Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 to Padma awardees from the state. The Chief Minister also announced monthly pension to the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan winners of Haryana, besides free travel facility in the state government's 'Volvo Bus' service. Made this announcement during his visit to Karnal. Meanwhile, Khattar said that the government has formulated several welfare policies to make life easier for the people of the state. People are getting the direct benefit of our government's schemes. Now the assistance amount (under various schemes) goes directly to the beneficiary's account.
