PSLV-C56 Mission 2023
PSLV-C56 is the 58th mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and the 17th flight of the PSLV-CA variant, and was launched from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a dedicated commercial mission through NSIL with DS-SAR as primary satellite and VELOX-AM as co-passenger satellite along with other 5 CubeSats, all from Singapore.
Other small satellites carried by the PSLV-C56 rocket include Velox AM, Arcade, Scoob-2, Nullion, Gelesia-2 and ORB-12 Strider. The two satellites were launched in April by the PSLV rocket. This launch is ISRO's third commercial mission. In March, ISRO launched 36 satellites belonging to UK's OneWeb on an LVM3 rocket.
