The Super Power Retailer Program will facilitate the empowerment and progress of retailers, marking an important milestone in Skill India's efforts to support the workforce. The initiative focuses on enabling retailers to adapt to today's modern retail by focusing on building their capacity and capability. It aims to provide training to small and micro retailers, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to better understand consumer behavior and their preferences. Retailers will be provided with the skills, tools and technology needed to succeed in the ever-changing retail ecosystem and spread the knowledge of best practices. According to this initiative, traditional retailers will be provided with the right skill set to make their business more profitable as well as enhance the skills required in their business.
The program will provide industry-specific skills such as customer management, merchandise and store management and financial management etc. to suit the business needs of retailers, thereby enhancing the skills of retailers and enhancing their knowledge. The 14-hour training will include two-hour classroom sessions and 12 hours of digital training.
